What is Bear Hunt?

Bear Hunt — commonly called Bear Trap — is a 30-minute alliance damage event. We are not trying to survive the Bear. We are trying to put as much damage into it as possible before time runs out.

🎯 The goal

Damage. Damage. More damage. Your rewards improve with your contribution, so Hero choice, rally timing and troop formation matter.

🚩 Calling vs. joining

If you CALL a rally

Your full three-Hero combat lineup matters. Use your best appropriate Bear rally team for the generation we are currently in.

If you JOIN a rally

Your first Hero is the important support slot. Up to four qualifying lead-Hero Expedition skills from rally members are used by the rally.

🔥 Jessie first

Jessie's first Expedition skill, Stand of Arms, increases Damage Dealt by all troops. That is why Cookie Factory says:

JESSIE FIRST.

Jasser can also provide a Damage Dealt support skill, while Seo-yoon provides Troops Attack. Follow the current alliance call for secondary marches.

📐 Troop ratios

Bear formations normally lean more offensive than PvP formations because this is a single-target damage race. Early-state recommendations often look like 3 / 3 / 4 or 2 / 3 / 5 — Infantry / Lancer / Archer — depending on Heroes and generation.

Cookie Factory rule: use the formation posted for the current Bear session. Hero generations change; the ratio is not carved into stone.

⏱️ More rallies = more chances to score

  • Join fast.
  • Keep march queues available.
  • Use saved formations.
  • Do not leave a march gathering during Bear if you need that queue.
  • Position close enough that travel time is not eating the event.

🏹 Explosive Arrowheads

Beast activity can provide Arrowheads used to enhance the Bear Trap. Alliance-wide Trap enhancement increases Bear damage, so donating is part of preparation.

⚠️ Common Bear mistakes

  • Putting Jessie in slot 2 instead of slot 1.
  • Sending the PvP formation automatically.
  • Joining with a random high-Power Hero first.
  • Keeping marches busy gathering during the event.
  • Starting rallies that compete with the alliance's strongest callers when leadership has assigned callers.

🍪 The Big Lesson

Bear Hunt rewards coordination more than ego. Right lead Hero + right ratio + fast joins + good rally callers beats “I sent my biggest number.”
